Eee PC small eye research
November 9, 2007 - 12:25 pmEee PC's small eyes seem to be used only to self, MSN can not be used, Skype can not.
Recently, Linux-Skype 2.0 beta came out to support the video, try to install in the Eee PC, but the error did not find the little eyes.
Curiosity under the original Eee PC to open the camera program, but also can be used ah really strange. Look at the original it is UCVideo driver, then take a look at the information network, http://www.unicap-imaging.org/ on it is to support the video4linux2 should be able to use skype.
I then look at the Terminal in dmesg results, finally. UCView program in the open before the eyes of this small "Disconnected", and open only after the "plug in" USB port, how can this action manually done? Can, then the little eyes on can be used in other parts of the !
Update: find a way! So long as the echo 1> / proc / acpi / asus / camera can be used.

echo [space] 1 [space]> / proc / acpi / asus / camera
But now ASUS has provided the proper functioning of skype, and recommended updates.
